IMPORTANT NOTICE

Lost River Caverns is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the last tour leaving at 4:30 PM on weekdays and at 4:40 PM on weekends and national holidays.

Because of reduced tour size, reservations are required. Please call in advance.

Face coverings are required in the visitors' center building and on the cavern tour and other public areas. Use of hand sanitizing stations will be required before and after the cavern tour and upon entering the building.

Measures have been established, using CDC and PA Department of Health recommendations, for expanded cleaning and sanitizing throughout our facility. Employees will be screened for temperature and wellness checks upon arrival. It is our goal to provide an enjoyable experience while ensuring the health and welfare of visitors and employees. We are thankful for your support cooperation during this challenging and most curious time.

The following policies are in place:

• Limited visitor capacity will be observed in the gift shop and on cavern tours to allow for proper social distancing.
• Masks or face coverings are required in the building and on the cavern tour. If you do not have your own mask, a paper mask can be provided. Children age 3 and under are exempt from wearing masks.
• The cavern is a natural environment. Therefore, it may not be possible to ensure six foot social distancing in some parts of the caverns, but we will endeavor to provide as much distance as possible between visitors.
• Staff members will wear masks or face coverings.
• Hand railings in the caverns will be disinfected frequently.
• Cash register areas are equipped with plastic shields and sheeting to protect the staff and our guests.
• There will be frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all touch areas, counters and pin pads.
• Cleaning and disinfecting of the store building will be completed daily.
• Daily temperature and health check of staff will be conducted.
